The summit is one of the highest points of the Santa Monica Mountains, providing a 360° view of the Pacific Ocean, mountains, and the valley. Our preferred route begins with a four mile warm up from the PCH to Topanga Canyon, then an eight mile climb winding through Fernwood and Tuna Canyon Road, with gradients peaking at 10%. But no matter which route you choose, all roads lead to Saddle Peak.
